Four aides quit in fresh blow to UK PM
British premier Boris Johnson faces a fresh crisis as FOUR of his closest aides quit amid growing calls for him to resign. Johnsons chief of staff, his principal private secretary, his director of communications and his head of policy all resigned, resulted in a tumultuous day for his government. Three of the officials were directly linked to the Downing Street parties held during COVID-19 lockdown. Johnson has been slammed for the gatherings, publicly known as the Partygate scandal. The premier has also been condemned for accusing Labour Party leader Keir Starmer of failing to prosecute a sex offender in the past. The comments prompted the resignations of Johnson's head of policy and it provoked criticism from his finance minister. ویدیوهای مرتبط
