آوریل 1968 تظاهرات بزرگ اتحادیه دانشجویان آلمانی در برلین غربی

دو روز پس از سوءقصد منجر به مجروحیت جامعه شناس و فعال سیاسی چپگرای آلمان غربی به نام «رودی دوچکه» که در جنبش دانشجویی این کشور جایگاه ممتازی داشت، تظاهرات اعتراضی بزرگی در برلین در 13 آوریل 1968 برگزار شد. اتحادیه دانشجویان سوسیالیست آلمان (SDS) به عنوان بخش غیرپارلمانی اوپوزیسیون (APO) برای این تظاهرات فراخوان داده بود. سرپیچی تظاهرکنندگان به بالغ بر دوهزار نفر بودند، از دستور پلیس سبب خشونت پلیس و متفرق کردن تظاهرکنندگان جوان به کمک باتون و خودروهای آبپاش شد و در جریان این حوادث عده ای زخمی شدند. Two days after the assassination attempt on Rudi Dutschke, demonstrations on the Kurfürstendamm took place on Good Friday, April 13, 1968. The Socialist German Student Union (SDS), as part of the West German Extra-Parliamentary Opposition (APO), invoked this march. More than 2,000 demonstrators made their way from Lehniner Platz to the Gedächtniskirche. The protesters were mainly young people who demanded one hour of airtime every day. Since the demonstrators did not follow the agreed route and ignored the polices call to dissolve, it did not remain a peaceful demonstrations and instead ended in several injuries. It also led to the use of water cannons.
