An aide to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has condemned a visit by an Israeli settlers delegation to the United Arab Emirates as part of the normalization deal between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi. Nabil Shaath said it was painful to witness Arab cooperation with one of the worst manifestations of aggression against the Palestinian people. This after the Israeli delegation met with Emirati business people to discuss commercial opportunities there. The UAE and Bahrain signed US brokered deals aimed at normalizing ties with the Israeli regime in mid-September. The moves have drawn widespread condemnations from the Muslim World as well as Palestinians. The Palestinians call the agreements a betrayal of their cause and a stab in their back.
