Before choosing Shiism, I was compelled to convert to Wahabiism.
Before coming to Shiism, I was introduced to Wahabism and felt compelled to convert to that ideology. However, after researching and studying both Sunni and Shia beliefs, I found that Shiism resonated more with me spiritually and intellectually. The emphasis on social justice, the teachings of the Ahlul Bayt (the family of the Prophet Muhammad), and the rich history and culture of Shia Islam ultimately led me to choose Shiism as my path. I have found a sense of peace and fulfillment in my faith that I did not experience before.
